Terms:
Payment made in full within 24 hours of auction end. Internet bidders will be charged a 14% Buyers Fee (4% discount w/ cash or money order). WISCONSIN RESIDENTS ARE CHARGED A 5.5% SALES TAX, UNLESS EXEMPT TAX NUMBER IS ON FILE WITH HINES AUCTION SERVICE, INC.
DECLINED CREDIT CARDS: Any bidders with credit cards that are declined on reconciliation day will be charged a $30 processing fee to run another credit card- NO EXCEPTIONS!
Shipping and handling charges will be charged separate. Shipping is based on weight and size. We will use UPS or USPS for ground shippable items(best price). BUYER MUST make other arrangements for any oversized items. A $2.00 handling charge per buyer will also be applied. Shipping will be within 5 business days. Insurance will be added only upon request. Larger items are subject to different fees.
Please note these assets are sold one time with non-retractable bids. When you bid on any item, you are entering into a binding contract. If your bid is the winning bid on any item, your credit card will be charged for your purchase. A 14% Buyer’s Premium will be charged in addition for all internet bids. We accept Visa, Mastercard & American Express.
All property is sold “AS IS”, and ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Property is open to thorough public inspection. It is the Bidder’s responsibility to determine condition, age, genuineness, value or any other determinative factor. Hines Auction Service, Inc may attempt to describe the merchandise in advertising, on the internet and at the auction but makes no representations. In no event shall Hines Auction Service, Inc be held responsible for having made or implied any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Bidder shall be the sole judge of value.
Bidders who bid from off site and are not present at the live auction or preview understand and acknowledge that they may not be able to inspect an item as well as if they examined it in person. It is the Bidder’s responsibility to determine condition, age, genuineness, value or any other determinative factor. Hines Auction Service, Inc shall endeavor to describe in detail each item and any pertinent information about it.
Hines Auction Service, Inc will not be responsible for any errors or omissions in the description of the merchandise. Bidder agrees that everything is sold as is and that they may not return any item they purchase.
Hines Auction Service, Inc is providing internet pre-auction and live bidding as a service to Bidder. Bidder acknowledges and understands that this service may or may not function correctly the day of the auction. Under no circumstances shall Bidder have any kind of claim against Hines Auction Service, Inc or anyone else if the internet service fails to work correctly before or during the live auction. Hines Auction Service, Inc will not be responsible for any missed bids from any source. Internet bidders who desire to make certain their bid is acknowledged should use the proxy-bidding feature and leave their maximum bid 24 hours before the auction begins. Hines Auction Service, Inc reserves the right to withdraw or re-catalog items in this auction.
